Bantaba X

The music of Bantaba X, whose members live in West Germany near Cologne, comes from and leads into different musical directions, such as jazz, funk, folk, pop, world music or ambient music. The Bantaba X musicians listen to a lot of music of different styles and from different parts of the world, absorbing different sounds, melodies and rhythms which, as a result, have a very individual impact on the creative process within the band. That's why they like to call the result of that process "music from the universe within". While there are, for example, Latin American rhythms or a slightly Middle Eastern tonality in some pieces, the overall quality of the sound in the music is rather unique, since the mere copying of styles is not what Bantaba X is looking for.
